For as long as I can remember, my life has followed two parallel paths: mathematics and music. Although I have always regarded them as distinct and in many respects distant disciplines, each has continually influenced the other, and together they have shaped my way of thinking, working, and understanding intellectual rigor and artistic expression.

I am Associate Professor of Mathematical Analysis at the University of Messina, where my academic activity combines research and teaching. My research interests lie primarily in functional analysis, measure theory, nonlinear analysis, variational methods, and partial differential equations.

Music has accompanied me since childhood. Alongside solo performances, chamber music, two-piano repertoire, collaborations with vocal ensembles, and editorial work on Baroque and Classical repertoire have all played an important role in my musical journey.

Rather than representing an alternative to mathematics, music has always provided a complementary perspective. During periods of intense mathematical work, the piano has often offered a space for relaxation, reflection, and renewal, helping to release tension and restore balance. Conversely, mathematics has frequently restored clarity and discipline during the demanding preparation of concerts or examinations.

This website brings together these two paths. It is intended not only as a record of academic and musical activities, but also as a place where research, teaching, and music coexist without being artificially merged.
